The Cook Government has funded a boost to social housing in Perth's southern suburbs with a $2.7 million grant to Community Housing Limited (CHL), supporting the construction of six new homes in Hamilton Hill.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom units have been completed to a Silver Livable Design Standard.

Construction was completed by Western Australian builders G Living and Fortitude Living.

CHL has proven experience managing and delivering social housing for more than 20,000 tenants across its 12,000 properties nationwide, including 622 in Western Australia.

The new builds are one of many projects funded through the State Government's record $6.3 billion investment in housing measures since 2021, supporting the delivery of 6,600 social homes.
