More than 60,000 fans are set to gather at Optus Stadium in Perth tonight for the second of Coldplay's Australian-exclusive Music Of The Spheres World Tour concerts.

The sold-out show follows last night's incredible Saturday evening concert, which was a major success and impressed a crowd of local, national and international attendees.

Roughly 30 per cent of tickets were sold to out-out-state visitors, and those tens of thousands of fans have travelled to Western Australia for the event, injecting tens of millions of dollars into the WA economy in a major tourism coup, with final figures to be released in the coming months.

The Major and Regional Events Program, supported by the State Government, collectively injected millions of dollars into the local economy last financial year, delivering a major boost for WA hospitality, tourism and entertainment businesses.

The Music Of The Spheres World Tour has sold more than nine million tickets across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia and Australia since it began in March 2022.

Coldplay sold more concert tickets than any other artist last year as the band broke attendance records around the world.
