Thai Airways has today announced it will recommence its daily non-stop service between Bangkok and Perth from Wednesday, 27 March 2024.

Thai Airways will operate the daily service on a B787-8 aircraft, with the return of the service to bring an additional 256 inbound seats daily to Western Australia - more than 93,000 extra travellers a year.

Thailand is WA's eighth largest trading partner, and a significant market for international students.

Thailand is considered an emerging market for leisure visitation, with the resumption of these non-stop flights to provide further tourism growth opportunities for both economies.

The resumed service also provides an additional flight option for visitors from the UK and continental Europe, which are priority markets for Western Australia, and further strengthens WA's status as 'Australia's Western Gateway'.
