$3,750 Lottery Fund grant to Great Southern/Central South Regional Gymnastics Association

Gymnastics in the Central South has received a boost from the State Government's Sports Lottery Fund Country Package.
Sport and Recreation Minister Norman Moore said that a $3,750 grant would be used by the Great Southern/Central South Regional Gymnastics Association to promote the sport and support developing clubs throughout the region.
"Aspects including coach education, judging and increasing participation will be boosted by the grant," Mr Moore said.
"This Government is well aware of the important role sport plays in the life of country people.
"It is important not to just focus on players, but on officials, coaches and umpires as well to make sure people can make the most of their sporting and recreational opportunities.
"Through development programs like this, regional areas can supply many of their own needs and get more from their sport."
