Adrian Scott appointed manager of WA Dairy Industry Authority

Primary Industry Minister Monty House today announced that Adrian Scott had been appointed as the new manager of Western Australia's Dairy Industry Authority.

Mr Scott is currently chief of staff to the South Australian Minister for Primary Industries.

He will start work with the authority at the end of this month.

He has also held the position of chief executive officer of the South Australian Dairyfarmers' Association.

Mr Scott has more than 20 years' professional experience as an economist, manager and policy adviser in both the public and private sectors.

His particular interest is sustainable economic development.

His wide-ranging experience encompasses regional development and the portfolio of primary industries.
