Appointment of John Sabourne of Brunswick to Traffic Board

Mr John Sabourne from Brunswick has been appointed as a deputy member of the Traffic Board.
Police Minister Bob Wiese said Mr Sabourne's extensive experience in local government and as a Justice would be invaluable to the board.
"Mr Sabourne, who is president of the Shire of Harvey, will be one of the Country Urban Councils' Association deputy representatives on the board and has been appointed for a three-year term," Mr Wiese said.
"The Traffic Board is chaired by the Commissioner of Police and has representation from the Departments of Transport and Main Roads along with local government.
"It plays a vital role in the formulation of traffic policy for the Government."
