Comment on petition relating to claims by Donna Steel

Attorney General Cheryl Edwardes is yet to receive a petition referred to in the front-page article of today's Sunday Times relating to claims by Ms Donna Steel.

"On receiving the petition I will deal with the matter swiftly and be seeking advice from the Director of Public Prosecutions," Mrs Edwardes said.
