The Karratha Kart Club has been included in the latest State Government Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund program.
Sport and Recreation Minister Norman Moore said that the club would get a grant of $8,750.
Mr Moore, who is also Member for the Mining and Pastoral Region, said that the money would be used to help resurface the track.
He said that $8 million would be made available from the Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund for 168 projects throughout the State.
In the last five years, the State Government had set aside a total of $51.3 million through the fund.
"The State Government is determined that Western Australians get facilities which are well-planned, well-designed and well-managed," the Minister said.
"We are placing a heavy emphasis on quality facilities which meet community needs."
Mr Moore said that through the fund, the State Government provided up to one-third of a project's cost.
Similar amounts were provided by community and sporting groups and local government.
