Grant to help South-West trampolinists enter national contest

Four trampolinists from the South-West will be at the National Championships in Melbourne in July - thanks to an $800 grant.

The grant, from the Sports Lottery Fund country package, was announced by Sport and Recreation Minister Norman Moore.

Mr Moore said it would help Jillian and Stephanie Leek, Alec Shenton and Jason Whittome to attend the training sessions and the national titles.

The grant was given to the Bunbury Police and Citizens' Youth Club.

"I am very pleased the Government has been able to help in this way," Mr Moore said.

"We are committed to helping people in regional Western Australia get the most possible from their sport and recreation opportunities."
