Jack Gilleece resigns his position in the Office of the Premier

Jack Gilleece has today resigned from his position in the Office of the Premier.
Premier Richard Court said he had regretfully accepted the resignation following Mr Gilleece's advice that he had been working for three entities outside Government without obtaining the necessary approvals.
"Mr Gilleece has been a very good officer who has served this Government well," Mr Court said.
The Premier said the Director General of the Ministry of the Premier and Cabinet, Mr Mal Wauchope, would examine the issue in detail.
