Local Government Minister Paul Omodei to visit the Shires of Dalwallinu and Morawa

Local Government Minister Paul Omodei will visit the Shires of Dalwallinu and Morawa today.
Mr Omodei will meet with the Dalwallinu Shire Council at lunchtime and then inspect the shire.
During his visit he will present a cheque for $16,500 from the Community Facilities Grants Program to the Dalwallinu Senior Citizens Association to assist in their project to install a disabled access toilet, air-conditioning and improved seating at their meeting hall.
The Community Facilities Grants Program will provide $4 million over four years to help local governments and other organisations to provide improved facilities for local communities and the travelling public.
Mr Omodei said that almost all of the $2 million of the first two years of the program had been allocated to country projects, with a strong emphasis on the provision of facilities accessible to people with disabilities.
Mr Omodei will then travel to Morawa to meet with the Shire Council there at 4pm.
