Minister to visit Esperance District Hospital in near future
8/8/96
Health Minister Kevin Prince said he would visit the Esperance District Hospital as soon as his schedule permitted.
Mr Prince was responding to an invitation by National Party MLA Ross Ainsworth to follow up claims that the hospital was overcrowded.
"I received Mr Ainsworth's letter on Tuesday, in which he first raised with me concerns about overcrowding at the hospital," the Minister said.
"I have no difficulties meeting with the hospital administrators to get a detailed and accurate account of what is occurring at the hospital."
Mr Prince said he would arrange to meet with hospital administrators in the near future, possibly in early September.
