Parliamentary sitting dates for 1994 announced

Leader of the House in the Legislative Assembly Colin Barnett today announced Parliamentary sitting dates for 1994.
Mr Barnett said the current session of Parliament would resume for three weeks from March 15 to 31 next year to complete items of legislation remaining on the notice paper.
The Thirty-Fourth Parliament would officially open on May 5, 1994.
Mr Barnett said the 1994 session of Parliament was scheduled to last for 16 weeks, ending on December 8. Parliamentary starting times were expected to remain the same.
The Legislative Assembly would sit this week and next week.
A special sitting day - and the final sitting for 1993 - would be held on Wednesday, December 22, to deal with any amendments from the Legislative Council.
