Perth to host National Indoor Netball Championships

About 200 competitors will be in Perth for the National Indoor Netball Championships which start tomorrow and finish next Saturday.
Sport and Recreation Minister Norman Moore, who will officially open the event, said it was the first time Western Australia had hosted the indoor championships.
There would be teams from Western Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and the ACT.
Mr Moore said the championship would include a mixed team event, as well as the more traditional ladies' teams.
"It is good to see a sport extending its appeal to the sporting population by giving more people the chance to participate," he said.
At the end of the championships, the Australian will select 'All-Australian' teams will be selected to take part in a series against New Zealand.
