Visit to Exmouth & Cue to inspect recovery work following Cyclone Vance

Local Government Minister Paul Omodei will visit Exmouth and Cue today and tomorrow.
This evening and tomorrow morning he will meet with Exmouth Shire officials and inspect the recovery work that has been undertaken following the destruction caused by Cyclone Vance.
Mr Omodei said the Department of Local Government had been in close contact with the Shire throughout the cyclone and had offered assistance where it was needed, including paying the air fares for three building inspectors who went to the town to accelerate building approvals and inspections for renovation work.

The Minister will fly to Cue on Friday morning to attend the Murchison Ward conference of the Country Shire Councils' Association.
