Brookton Highway sealing works mark completion of latest upgrade

Various sections of Brookton Highway and Gorge Rock-Lake Grace Road will be sealed during this summer, completing major improvements which were begun last year.
Planning and Infrastructure Minister Alannah MacTiernan said today that Pioneer Road Services had been awarded a $459,000 contract for the works, over a total distance of 20km on both roads.
Last year's improvements included widening works and upgraded road geometry at intersections to create a safer environment for motorists.
The final sealing works will be carried out between January and March next year.
