The newest international carrier was welcomed into Perth Airport today, and hailed as a sign of Bali's continuing recovery.
Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism, Ken Travers, who welcomed the arrival of Air Paradise International, said it would operate four services each week from Perth to Denpasar, using Airbus A310 aircraft.
"As well as being good news for Bali and its tourist industry, the launch of Air Paradise International is great news for travel agencies here in Western Australia," Mr Travers said.
"Improving access to WA is also a key issue for us, so the launch of this new airline provides welcome exposure.
"Western Australians have always had a close relationship with the Balinese and it is great to see the State rebuild itself from the devastating bomb attacks in October last year.
"WA also looks forward to welcoming the many visitors Air Paradise will deliver to our doorstep."
