High Court appeal cost

Attorney General Jim McGinty has rejected as totally untrue claims today by the National Party that the High Court challenge relating to Western Australia's proposed electoral equality laws was $3million.
Mr McGinty said the total cost of the appeal, including counsel fees, Crown Solicitor's office fees, and expenses such as travel and accommodation, was around $201,000 plus GST.
