Women's Interests Minister Sheila McHale has released a new wallet-sized resource directory containing more than 100 organisations providing services to women.
Ms McHale said the directory, produced by the Women's Information Service (WIS), was a very useful, quick and handy reference that replaced the book-sized directory previously produced.
"Every woman in Western Australia should be able to easily access information about services they need," she said.
"This pocket directory provides an excellent starting point for contact information about accommodation, health, domestic violence, sport, recreation and the arts.
"It also contains services for special population groups such as multicultural, indigenous, youth, seniors and those with disabilities.
"If the directory does not cover a specific need, women can call the Women's Information Service.
"WIS staff are caring and knowledgeable and can help connect women with the services they need."
Copies of the new directory are available through WIS on 9264 1900 or 1800 199 174 for country callers.
