Northampton doctor signs Medical Service Agreement

Northampton doctor Ron Hutchison has returned to work at Northampton Hospital, following successful negotiations with the Health Department.
The Health Department confirmed yesterday that Dr Hutchison had signed a Medical Services Agreement (MSA), allowing him to treat patients at Northampton hospital.
Health Minister Jim McGinty welcomed the news.
"I commend both Dr Hutchison and the Health Department for coming to an agreement, so that services to the Northampton community can get back to normal," Mr McGinty said.
"The agreement represents a win-win situation for both parties, but most importantly, a win for the local community.
"Dr Hutchison is a well respected doctor and I am sure Northampton residents will be pleased that he will be able to resume services."
Shane Matthews, Director Mid-West and Murchison Health, said the agreement was the result of positive negotiations.
"We look forward to continuing a strong and positive working relationship with Dr Hutchison," Mr Matthews said.
