The Swan District Hospital emergency department will be open all hours from Monday, November 5.
Health Minister Bob Kucera said a locum service would provide after-hours cover to restore the emergency department to a full-time, 24-hour service.
The department was shut down in August at nights and on Sundays because of a shortage of senior medical staff.
Early last month, the department was re-opened on Sundays and later opened until midnight.
"From November 5, the community will again have access to senior and experienced medical cover 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week," Mr Kucera said.
"I am very pleased that people who live in the Swan Valley or come from the immediate rural area will be able to access emergency care close to home at all times.
"I understand that the closure has been hard on the local community and I appreciate their patience while the Government has worked towards a solution.
"I also take this opportunity to thank Swan Hills MLA Jaye Radisich and Midland MLA Michelle Roberts, who strongly supported my efforts to re-open the emergency department as quickly as possible."
Mr Kucera said the Government would continue to work together with the Department of Health and local doctors to find a long-term solution.
Advertisements to recruit senior emergency registrars and consultants have been placed nationally.
