Building of new science facilities for Eaton students begins

Work has started on a $5 million science building fit with laboratories and classrooms at Eaton Community College in Bunbury.

Work has started on a $5 million science building fit with laboratories and classrooms at Eaton Community College in Bunbury.

The facilities will include two chemistry laboratories, four general laboratories, and special areas for science staff as well as storage.

The tender was awarded to BGC and construction is expected to be completed in mid-2020.

The McGowan Government continues to deliver on its election commitment to boost science in schools.

A total of $3 million is also being invested in 2019-20, towards converting 51 primary classrooms across the State into science laboratories.
