Finalists announced for WA Education Awards 2022

Acting Education and Training Minister Rita Saffioti today announced this year's finalists for the WA Education Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievements in Western Australian public schools.

Acting Education and Training Minister Rita Saffioti today announced this year's finalists for the WA Education Awards, which celebrate outstanding achievements in Western Australian public schools.

Fifty-nine schools were nominated for the 2022 awards across three new categories that honour collective leadership, and excellence in teaching and learning in primary and secondary schools.

The award winners will be announced at a presentation event on Friday 18 November, with each to receive $10,000 to put towards a project or program at the school.

The finalists are from across the State and include an education support centre, a remote community school, a district high school, two senior high schools and three primary schools, while Shenton College is a finalist in two categories.

The awards are sponsored by the LIFT Alliance, a consortium of specialist IT providers - Kinetic IT, ASG Group, Campfire and Systemic.
