The McGowan Government is also converting classrooms into science laboratories at 100 primary schools across the State in 2018 and 2019 - Carcoola Primary School and Harvey Primary School are part of this initiative.

Premier Mark McGowan visited Carcoola Primary School in Pinjarra today (March 9) to discuss the school's plans for the transformation of their classroom.

Comments attributed to Premier Mark McGowan:

"We are committed to giving WA students the best education possible, and that means ensuring they are supported and have extra help when they need it.

"We are also ensuring students are learning in first-class facilities - the new science labs in two Murray-Wellington primary schools will help students develop an interest in science from a young age, and continue that study as they go through school."

Comments attributed to Murray-Wellington MLA Robyn Clarke:

"Local schools will welcome the additional support in our classrooms, giving our students the best possible opportunity to achieve their best.

"Students can get extra help when they need it, and the rest of the class can stay focused on their learning."
