Safety first for Rotto swim crews

- Captains, spotters and paddlers exempt from Rottnest Island admission fees

Support crews for this year's Rottnest Channel Swim will have their admission fees for the island waived.
More than 5,000 swimmers and support crew are expected on the water for Rottnest Island's biggest event of the year.
For the first time, captains, spotters and paddlers will be exempt from overnight ($24) and day-visitor fees ($18).
The Rottnest Island reservations team is working with Channel Swim organisers to refund any prepaid admission fees.
