Steel sector pursuing further quality
- Three WA steel fabricators secure funding for new AS/NZS 5131 standard
- Up to $10,000 in funding for majority of certification costs
Three Western Australian steel fabrication businesses have received funding by the State Government's popular Industry Facilitation and Support Program.
The Australian Steel Institute recipients include local businesses Cays Engineering, Alltype Engineering and Minprovise International.
A new round of funding has opened offering steel fabricators, galvanisers and finishers, 75 per cent of certification costs worth up to $10,000 that adhere to the new national AS/NZS 5131 standard.
