About us
Imagine how exciting it would be to start your career with one of the largest government employers in WA. The Department of Education supports more than 300,000 students, their teachers and communities in 800+ public schools across the state.
No experience? No problem: as a trainee, you gain genuine experience in a professional workplace with on the job training. It’s an opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills and get a head start on your future — whether that’s further study or a career in the public sector.
We have successfully hosted 11 school based trainees since February 2024.
Students from all schools, both government and non-government, are encouraged to apply.
