Fiona Hunt joined the Department of the Premier and Cabinet on 8 June 2021 to lead the new Aboriginal Engagement and Community Policy Division.  The Division works collaboratively with government and non-government stakeholders on a range of Government and community priorities.

Fiona brings a great breadth of leadership experience to the role, having held senior executive positions in the Departments of Justice, Health and most recently Education. She also led public sector reforms in a previous role at the Department of the Premier and Cabinet.

Through all her work, Fiona prioritises and builds strong relationships.  She has an adaptive and engaged leadership style focused on developing collaborative working partnerships with a value on transparency, credibility and trust.  She also has a keen interest and expertise in organisational governance, assurance and risk management.

Fiona holds a Bachelor of Health Science and has authored a number of published papers in this field.
