The National Energy Technician Training Scheme (NETTS), spearheaded by Programmed Training Services, is a pioneering industry collaboration that brings together leading oil and gas operators and more than 20 partner organisations to develop the next generation of energy technicians. Established to address skills shortages and create a sustainable workforce pipeline, NETTS delivers a standardised, high-quality apprenticeship model focused on safety, technical capability and industry readiness. Through shared training, cross-company secondments and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, NETTS has strengthened workforce development across the energy sector while creating meaningful career pathways for young Australians.
