What payments are available
Payments will be provided in tiers:
- $20,000 is available to residents whose home has been severely damaged or destroyed.
- $10,000 for those who have suffered major damage.
- $5,000 minimum for eligible small businesses and community groups to help with repairs and recovery.

How does the recovery fund work
Payment will be distributed by partners The Australian Red Cross and the Western Australian Council of Social Services (WACOSS) following an assessment process, with funding from Lotterywest.
What other support is available
This support is in addition to the Premier's Relief Payment, which is available to households impacted by this event, and the jointly funded Commonwealth-State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements that were made available to impacted individuals, local governments, small businesses and primary producers.
