Community Services Outcomes Measurement Framework

Guidance
The Outcomes Measurement Framework harnesses data to demonstrate the effectiveness of community services at achieving positive outcomes for the people of Western Australia
Last updated:

The Outcomes Measurement Framework (the Framework) enables a shared understanding of outcomes across government agencies and the community services sector and seeks to better harness data to demonstrate the effectiveness of community services at achieving positive outcomes for the people of Western Australia.

The Framework was developed through (former) Department of Finance funding to the Western Australian Council of Social Service, under the guidance and oversight of the Supporting Communities Forum.

The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) periodically reviews the Framework in consultation with government agencies and the community services sector to ensure that it remains fit for purpose and continues to meet the needs of the community.

Government agencies are responsible for integrating the Framework into their community services commissioning and service delivery management. DTF has created a User Guide to help achieve this or you can contact DTF for more support.
