ECU's outstanding teaching capability combined with their externally engaged world class researchers, provides the ideal environment to develop higher degree by research students to be cross-disciplinary, cross-sectoral researchers and future leaders.

There are a wide range of excellent facilities to support research and learning at ECU, which include cyber security, mechanical and electronics (CNC), additive manufacturing, sustainability (hydrogen), wave pool, sport science, and other custom-built laboratories.
