The litter prevention strategy contributes to the State Government goal of ‘A liveable environment – Make a cleaner, more sustainable environment’. The 2020-25 Litter Prevention Strategy is currently being reviewed to closely align with objectives of The Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery (WARR) Strategy 2030. The principles of the 2020-2025 Litter Prevention Strategy continue to be followed while a new Western Australian Litter Prevention Action Plan is developed to support WARR Strategy 2030.
