This form is not required for shallow mineralisation (e.g. minerals sands, bauxite, nickel laterite) where the mineralisation does not continue at depth into fresh rock. The form provides detailed information about the proponent’s company, project overview and sterilisation proposals, and is to be submitted to the Resource and Environmental Compliance Division of the Department of Mines, Petroleum and Exploration, when submitting a Mining Development and Closure Proposal (MDCP)
