Safe Work Month

Celebrated every October, National Safe Work Month is a time to commit to building a healthy and safe workplace.
Last updated:

All year, we talk safety. In October, let's get louder. Workplace safety goes beyond October; it’s a commitment every day.

Western Australia's theme for National Safe Work Month is about shaping what comes next. WorkSafe WA, part of the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety, is this year highlighting the Safe Work Month theme – ‘The Way Forward’. This is the opportunity to strengthen our safety culture, embrace innovation, and take meaningful steps toward a safer future for every worker, every day.

There are many ways to take part in Safe Work Month. You can attend one of our special events or organise workplace activities to raise awareness about health and safety.
