Undersea Defence Technology 2026

Undersea Defence Technology (UDT) Australia is the newest addition to the internationally-recognised UDT series. 2027 marks the first time the event will be held outside Europe.

Taking place at the Adelaide Showgrounds from 2 to 4 December 2026, UDT Australia is expected to attract 1,500 to 2,000 delegates from defence, industry and academia across Australia, the Indo-Pacific, and the global undersea technology community.

Under the theme Engineering the Undersea Future, the event will explore the critical need to accelerate innovation and transform emerging technologies into operational undersea capability. Delegates will have the opportunity to engage in discussions, knowledge sharing and collaboration across four key focus areas:

• Autonomy
• Application
• Agility
• Human Factors

The three-day program will include a two-day exhibition and conference, bringing together leading organisations, innovators and decision-makers from across the sector, followed by a dedicated industry visit program on the third day.
