The Health and Medical Life Sciences Industry Advisory Group has been established as a knowledge-sharing, consultative forum to provide a platform for strategic advice and communication between WA Government and industry stakeholders regarding the implementation of the WA Health and Medical Life Sciences Industry Strategy and related issues.
The objectives of the group include:
- Providing strategic advice and representing the overall views and interests of the WA health and medical life sciences industry.
- Facilitating open and transparent consultation between members on the key needs of the sector and delivery of initiatives under the WA Health and Medical Life Sciences Industry Strategy.
- Providing and receiving feedback on issues impacting the sector and performance of proposed and existing programs to support sector growth.
- Engaging on opportunities for collaboration to deliver activities aligned with the industry strategy.
Chaired by the WA Chief Scientist, the Group meets quarterly.
