Congratulations to all finalists for the WA Innovators of the Year 2026! Meet this year's outstanding finalists and discover how they're shaping the State’s thriving innovation ecosystem.

About

Launched in 2006, Western Australia's (WA) Innovators of the Year has celebrated local businesses, government entities and young people that have developed an outstanding innovative product, technology or service for 20 years.

The Growth Innovation Award is awarded to a WA applicant who has developed an outstanding innovative product, technology, process or service that has generated material commercial revenue from the innovation at the time of application submission, and demonstrates an economic, social and/or environmental benefit to WA.

The winner will receive a cash prize of $60,000 (excl. GST) and the benefits of a PhD student, with a runner-up to receive $15,000 (excl. GST).

Meet our finalists

In 2026, there are six finalists for the Growth Innovation Award:

Contec Australia

Contec Australia delivers structural concrete using large-scale 3D concrete printing, applying robotics, automated material placement and digital construction workflows to increase construction capacity in Western Australia through a faster, scalable and design-flexible delivery method.

Hyperion Systems
