The International Student ELICOS Bursary provides a one-off support payment of $1,500 for eligible international students. These funds may be used to offset fees when taking an approved ELICOS* course in Western Australia.
If an application is successful, payment will be made only after confirmation from the relevant education provider.
*ELICOS = English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students

Show moreThe application form will be available on SmartyGrants and a link to a future round will be provided here.
Together with the application form, three key documents will need to be attached to verify the applicant's details and personal identity.
- Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) document. See the example on the Department of Home Affairs website.
- A current Australian Bank Statement document. This document can be ordered through the applicant's bank. See an example of an Australian Bank statement.
- An e-ticket or boarding pass document. See an example of a travel itinerary and standard boarding pass.
