The department is committed to delivering on the seven outcomes of the Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2024-2029 by improving access to the department’s services, events, facilities, consultation and feedback, employment and information for people with disability.

Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2024-2029 

In accordance with the Disability Services Act, the department has a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan.

The plan outlines strategies for ensuring people with disability, their families and carers have equal opportunity to access our services and facilities.

This plan is available, upon request, in alternative formats like large print, hard copy, electronic format, audio or Braille.

Disability Access and Inclusion Committee

The Disability Access and Inclusion Committee develops and delivers the plan, monitors developments and feedback, undertakes reporting responsibilities, and promotes awareness of disability access and inclusion matters at LGIRS.
