The Department of Transport (DoT) has 3 administrative offices located in Perth, Fremantle and Innaloo.

Our main office locations aren't open to the public and can't process payments. Payments can be made conveniently online via DoTDirect, or in person at one of our Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) centres, regional DoT office or agents.

Gordon Stephenson House - 140 William St, Perth

DoT's main administration office is centrally located in the Perth CBD at Gordon Stephenson House, 140 William Street. When visiting Gordon Stephenson House, we encourage you to walk, cycle or use public transport if possible.

Public entry

Gordon Stephenson House can be accessed from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm on weekdays, entry is via the Public Lift Lobby off William Street. Upon entry into the foyer, please visit the concierge who will direct you to lift H which will take you to reception on level 2.

Public transport

Gordon Stephenson House is conveniently located above Perth Underground Station and is only a short walk from Perth Station.

  • There are also CAT stops nearby on William Street and Wellington Street
  • Walking to the building is also a convenient option if you are within the city precinct.

Tassels Place - 2 Tassels Place, Innaloo

Tassels Place is a state-of-the-art facility located close to the Stirling Station transport hub. 

Public entry

Tassels is not open to the public and there are no counter services available.

Public transport

Stirling Station is a short 600m/10-minute walk away from Tassels Place, with highly frequent bus and train services arriving throughout the day.

Trains on the Yanchep Line depart Perth and Yanchep on weekdays at the following frequencies:

  • Between 4-10 minutes during peak times
  • Every 15 minutes outside peak times
  • Every 30 minutes after 8.30pm.

Kings Square (Walyalup Koort)- 5 Newman Court, Fremantle

Located in the heart of Fremantle, Kings Square is home to DoT's Maritime staff.  

Public entry

Kings Square is not open to the public and there are no counter services available.

Public transport

Kings Square is a 10-minute walk from Fremantle Train Station. Its central location means it close to bus services, with ample paid parking on site.

Trains on the Fremantle Line depart Fremantle and Perth on weekdays at the following frequencies:

  • Between 4-10 minutes during peak times
  • Every 15 minutes outside peak times
  • Every 20-30 minutes after 8.30pm.

Licensing payments can be made online via DoTDirect.  If you haven't got a DoTDirect account, you can register for one via the DoT website.

Pay in-person

You can also make payments in person at our Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) centre, regional DoT office or agents
