About

The Office of Major Infrastructure Delivery (OMID) delivers projects that make a real difference to every Western Australian with new hospitals, sports, culture and entertainment centres, transport upgrades and training, justice and research facilities.

OMID is becoming a centre of excellence for the planning and delivery of major infrastructure projects across the state and brings together the best of program and project management, procurement, contract management, finance, commercial, stakeholder engagement, communications, social impact strategy and governance.

OMID leads major infrastructure projects within DTMI, which is responsible for coordinating the State’s transport operations, leading strategic planning and policy development, and delivering safe and sustainable transport services as part of the wider Transport Portfolio.

OMID is committed to planning and building high value (exceeding $100 million), highly complex and/or high-risk major infrastructure projects throughout WA. These include:

Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 1992 gives members of the public a right to access information held by the Office of Major Infrastructure Delivery (OMID), subject to some limitations. 

Currently you can submit Freedom of Information applications for OMID through the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure’s Freedom of information page.
