About us

The Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery (OMTID) was established in 2020 as a centre of excellence for major project delivery across the Transport Portfolio.

At OMTID, we bring together experts from the Public Transport Authority, Main Roads Western Australia and the Department of Transport, streamlining cross-agency collaboration to deliver major transport infrastructure projects valued at more than $100 million.

We are focused on championing State and Federal Government priorities to deliver a sustainable transport network, connecting communities through local investment and diversity.

Our people are passionate about using innovative methods to find the best environmental solutions, supporting the circular economy, and reusing materials. OMTID's sustainability team participate in and fund demonstration trials to ensure projects are expanding the Western Australian transport network sustainably for future generations.

We are committed to engaging with First Nations peoples to create equity across employment, procurement, and engagement.

We also use art to reimagine the spaces at the heart of every community, creating a connection between the public space and the people who surround it.
