The Future is Me Urban Art Program, co-designed by local youth, brought murals to the Shire offices, Carnarvon Central shopping centre and Robinson Street, sparking upgrades at the skate park and Egan Street. These included planter boxes, infrastructure and Carnarvon’s f irst road mural. Robinson Street beautification added wicking planters, tree planting, interactive art and nature play. A community art hub now hosts workshops and creates anti-vandalism window decals and mentorship. Together, these efforts blend creativity, collaboration and pride, reimagining Carnarvon’s streetscapes and fostering inclusion
