The awards, administered by Town Team Movement with support from the Department of Local Government, Industry Regulation and Safety, recognise and promote innovative place-related projects, policies and activities.
In 2026, local governments from metropolitan and regional Western Australia as well as Indian Ocean Territories were awarded. While they differ in size, context and scale, they share a strong commitment to community, innovation and place.
