The Banned Drinkers Register operates in the Goldfields, which is a banned drinker area as prescribed in the Liquor Control Regulations 1989.

This includes local government areas of:

  • Coolgardie
  • Dundas
  • Kalgoorlie-Boulder
  • Laverton
  • Leonora
  • Menzies.

The local government districts of Esperance and Ngaanyatjarraku are not declared banned drinker areas.
