A Change of Ownership occurs when a new entity (individual, partnership or company) acquires the freehold ownership of the premises upon which a liquor license has been issued.

Section 103 of the Act places an obligation on the owner to inform the Director of their particulars within 7 days of acquiring ownership of a licensing premises. The downloadable form below is provided for this purpose.  No fee is payable.

If you are purchasing an existing liquor licensed business and the premises together use the transfer of liquor licence application form.

The act also requires the owner to update the Director within 7 days if their contact details change.  Revised details can be provided in writing or by email to the contacts as provided in the submitting your application on this page.
