Western Australians are encouraged to recognise the warning signs of gambling-related harm and to seek help.

What are you really gambling with?

For many people gambling is a bit of fun using some spare cash but for some this can quickly become a harmful habit using up savings, borrowed money, rent or mortgage payments.

Gambling can be harmful if you are spending more than you can afford to lose. It can lead to lying, arguing with family and losing friendships.

The State Government funds support services that are free for users:

If you think you may be affected by gambling related harm, visit the Gamble Aware website to take a short test and find strategies to stop you or a loved one from betting such as the BETSTOP national self-exclusion register.
