Photographs are required for High Risk Work & Plumbing Licences.
Example of acceptable photograph:
Photographs must:
- be a JPG, JPEG, GIF, or PNG file type and no larger than 5MB.
- less than 6 months old
- be in colour
They must have: - a plain white or light background
- a clear, in-focus image
- a neutral expression (not smiling)
- uniform lighting with appropriate brightness and contrast to show your natural skin tone
- your face centred and looking straight at the camera
- the edges of your face clearly visible.
They must not have: - sunglasses, hats or other ineligible headwear
- any retouching, such as removing moles, wrinkles or scars
- any shadows or reflections
- a smile expression
- your head tilted in any direction or looking away
- your hair obscuring the edges of your face.
There are photograph service providers (i.e post offices, many camera stores and some pharmacies & chemists) who can help you to take an appropriate photograph and will provide you with a digital copy that can be used.
