State Graffiti Taskforce

The State Graffiti Taskforce is a collaborative response with the vision to reduce graffiti vandalism and contribute to safer Western Australian communities. This is achieved through the following three goals, each of which is guided by a set of activities designed to produce the outputs required to achieve the intended outcomes of the Taskforce’s strategy:

  1. Promote Partnerships
  2. Reporting and removing graffiti vandalism
  3. Prevention and policing graffiti vandalism.

Members of the Taskforce are the following agencies:

  • Department of Education
  • Main Roads Western Australia
  • Neighbourhood Watch
  • Public Transport Authority
  • Property Council of Australia (WA)
  • WA Local Government Association (WALGA)
  • Metropolitan and Regional Local Government representatives
  • Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries
  • Department of Justice
  • Water Corporation
  • Telstra
  • Western Power
  • National Broadband Network
  • Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage
  • Mental Health Commission
